you should have posted a pic of the democrat controlled congress that voted to to give Saddam the weapons shaking hands rather than just some envoy. post a pic of Osama shakin hands with the democrat controlled congress when they voted to give him weapons/money as well. let's not forget who controlled congress during the time they were sending 10s of thousands of young boys to die in Viet Nam, all the while scaring the sheeple with the line that the Republicans were the hawkish ones.


yes, my mommy did build the highways and so did my grandparents, WITH THEIR TAX DOLLARS! where do you think the government comes up with this money?

i can clean my own water, thank you. we have no contaminates in my towns water. the only contaminate we have even in the next town is perchlorate that is left over from a government rocket building program.


there is a huge difference in regulating and runnin a business.
i use to sell to the government through a business that i owned and through one i managed. they paid about 4 times what they should have because they have no idea what they are doing.

the key to yur Colbert thing is that he brought up a government official takin a bribe= imagine that ::)

when Pelosi got into trouble for bein a dumbass she took a trip to Asia at the taxpayers expense for a kool down vacation.

when Bill Clinton got into trouble he bombed a uuh what was that? bottling company?

The key is I never said Government was perfect. It's just a better solution to have one entity controlling some services that all of us need rather than many private, profit driven entities. The two main areas where government is bad are typically when it's done behind closed doors and it involves private contractors. Just like the example you point to in Colberts clip. There is a similar problem with Medicare now and private insurance companies.

Sunlight and not subbing out services to the lowest bidder would get rid of most government waste and corruption.

I don't pay much attention to Pelosi's trips but I doubt they are much different than most other politicians.

As for Clinton's bombing I believe it was based on CIA or other military intel amd they calim they only missed Bin Laden by a few hours. How close did Bush's wars come to getting Osama and at what cost in money and lives?

Here is the solution:
While discussing the upcoming Universal Health Care Program with my sister-in-law the other day, I think we have found the solution.I am sure you have heard the ideas that if you're a senior you need to suck it up and give up the idea that you need any health care. A new hip? Unheard of. We simply can't afford to take care of you anymore. You don't need any medications for your high blood pressure, diabetes, heart problems, etc. Let's take care of the young people. After all, they will be ruling the world very soon.

So here is the solution. When you turn 70, you get a gun and 3 bullets. You are allowed to shoot one senator and 2 representatives.Of course, you will be sent to prison where you will get 3 meals a day, a roof over your head and all the health care you need! New teeth, great! Need glasses, no problem! New hip, knee, kidney, lung, heart? Well, bring it on. And who will be paying for all of this? The same government that just told you that you are too old for health care. And, since you are a prisoner, you don't have to pay any income tax.

Just a couple of things wrong with that CA . Because of the bad Knees and running out of breath it would probably kill us before we got to the senator and the reps. To top it off no glasses so could not see where to aim . ;D

Here’s a question. How many people believe that the US is a Christian nation and that the government should acknowledge God by doing things like putting the 10 commandments in government buildings, having prayer in public school etc., but shouldn't be involved in health insurance or welfare type activities?

are you askin this question as a Christian?
you need to clarify the part of the question where you ask " the government should acknowledge God by doing things like putting the 10 commandments in government buildings, having prayer in public school etc., ". are you suggesting the government "put" these things in or "allow" these things to be installed or spoken?
