NAPA or use 5/8 and dont make it too long to keep from puttin a crimp in it

Buy the molded hose. (moulded for our Canajun bros and sis) Ford doesn't service that part any more becuz they're making mod motors now. I was quoted seven bucks apiece for an extra long pan bolt for a 91 5.0 rear sump. Got them for 32 cents each at Tacoma Screw Products. A very close match too with the 3/8" head and wide flange on a 1/4x20 1" bolt.

There are 2 different little 90 degree molded (moulded) hoses depending on the size of the water pump outlet. One is the same size both ends (most common old 221-289 and early 302) and the other has 2 different size ends (later 302 and 351W). The Dayco numbers are 70001 for the early and 70646 for the late and I'm sure you could cross to GoodYear or Gates. MG
