If you really want to run 14" rims Am. Racing makes a 14" Ford rally type wheel with 4 or 4.5" backspacing that clears disc brake set up. I have 4 in storage with dog dish caps But, great time to switch to 15",16"s

You can also run Granada five lug rims since they cleared discs and were almost always 14". That's handy for the Granada disc swap since the register hole will match the hub.

Yes, good point, center hole must match. lots of old 14's will fit but center hole will be to small & you have to lathe d**n thing By the time your done searching you might as well have bought new from wheel vintiques!

The correct wheels for the car ain't DOT legal anymore with those rivets. Even the concours shows will allow welded rims now.

Found this place by recommendation . Friend just did his 50 Pontiac. You buy their bracket for $135.00 than use 68,69 mustang rotors 38.00 ea. New, early 90's 2wd s10 calipers and pads 57.00 each loaded, Lincoln brake hoses 12.00 ea. Best part is I can use my 14'' aluminum slots. Cost wise to be about the same as others. But replacement parts would all be local buys. www.scarebird.com/

Is that $135 for both brackets? Also, do the bearings in those Mustang rotors fit the Meteor spindle? And would you have to find all of the correct fasteners or are they included with the brackets, calipers, etc.?
Price wise it's the same as buying the kit I used. I did have to pay shipping but I didn't have to pay tax. My big question is the bearings. In that kit, the rotors are from a Granada and you do have to swap out the races and use the correct size bearings for the Meteor. The kit included both. I'm just not sure if the '69 Mustang spindle is the same size as the '62 Meteor spindle. If not, then there's an extra cost/part as well to get the right size races and bearings.
It's definately a good way to go if you are running 14" wheels.

Thats for both brackets. The paper work they sent is at work and I don't remember f it had bearings on it or not. I know the 68 Stang uses A2 outer and A6 inners and the seals are the same regardless if it is Disc or Drums. Don't remember what the Meteor uses. Pretty sure the outers are A2, but not sure about the inner. All the hardware should come with the loaded calipers. Have to check the books tomorrow.

the 68 mustang rotors do use the same bearings and seal as our meteors also it seems I was wrong about it being s10 calipers should use Ford Ranger 2wd calipers. dang joey, just cause I used your idea for a signature didn't mean you had to make your bigger. LOL

The set I bought from Willie at Rod and Custom motor sports did not fit flush on the rear of the spindle. So a bit of grinding on just a couple areas and it flush. Can be done with a file, I used an air grinder.
