It should be on the drivers door tag. You can also find it stamped into the steel of the engine bay near the windshield washer bag.

This is the "Warranty Plate" It has your serial number on it. It should be on your drivers side door. The serial number on this plate should match the numbers on the inside fender and other palces on your car. The serial number is also your VIN number for DMV. they didn't actually have VIN numbers in 1963.
