a lower control arm and the right side gunsight that needs rechroming. i don't need these items real bad but will keep bidding unless someone around here wants/needs them more than me. no sense in us runnin up the price on each other. you can't tell who the bidder is with the way ebay has it setup now.

like i said, i don't need it but if no one else bids and i get it. i'd sell it for whatever i paid. i did the same way with arie on the last one i bid on and got. i just use them for measurements then i'm done. problem is that i can't find the measurements i took from the last one ;D

I'm waitin' til someone starts - maybe sets the reserve. Hard to say what the reserve will be. Maybe someone will start on it in a couple of days.

CA, I guess I might not have been too clear either. I waited for a while to make my first bid ($25) that met the reserve. Then I raised it to $35.35, not sure if someone else wanted it worse. My shipping hasn't been determined yet, so still don't know the total cost. I don't think my winning bid was extreme, so I'm okay with it. You mentioned measurements - if you need those, I can send them to you when I recieve it. I have a NOS one for the opposite side that I won a couple of years ago, and I think it was a little higher cost than this one. I leave tomorrow PM for Omaha, to spend the night before my 9:50 flight to San Diego - I'd need to leave here by 5:00 AM to be at the airport on time for the flight. I'll be visiting two daughters, and friends and former employees, and will then fly on to Seattle to visit my Sis on her birthday, and return home May 6th. I had hoped to drive the trip, but gas prices, and wear and tear and expenses of 7 days on the road made me decide on flights and a rental car. I don't think I need to put that much stress on this (nearly 71 yr old) body, not to mention the vehicle. I just wrapped up installation of a Vintage Air heat/air/defrost system in the Meteor today, but will have to recheck connections - lacking power to the compressor - that will have to wait until my return. I also need to flush the cooling system and replace hoses after I get back. Hopefully the power problem will be as simple as a fuse/power source connection. I also had to change out a failed CVR, so having the instrument cluster out gave me a little more access for the Vintage Air installation. I've burned out two re-pop CVR's so hopefully the used one that I salvaged from a Falcon parts car will last. I only have the fuel gauge involved with it, as I have replaced the other three with electronic mini gauges that fit pretty good in the original dash. I've replaced my stereo with one that is AM/FM/cassette (to accommodate my XM radio), and had to design a "console" for that, the center dash vent, and controls for the air system, which matches well with a Hyundai center console. I'VE BEEN BUSY, AND WILL APRECIATE THE 2 WEEK BREAK!!!!
