Is anyone here on ebay selling stuff as loriscott76 ?
Hubby bought me a taillight assembly for 5.00. Good price, then asked if they would combine shipping as there was onother one there that was real rough but if he got for 5.00 also would be worth it. They said depends on the item. Truth was it depended how much they got for the stuff because when he won the second one for 5.00 he was told no combined deal as "that was the juice". He should be happy he got them for 36.00 with shipping! Yea, except we only really wanted one spare which isn't that great to start with and now overpaid shipping on another thats crap.
If you're a member here, sell your stuff, buy a Chevy and get lost.

i HATE sellers that do that! i had one guy send me an email askin what kind of rating i gave him cause his star thing went down after i left feedback= it was because he charged too much so i marked it like that. i don't buy from people that overcharge on shipping or have a high starting price- like that guy in San Jose that starts almost everything at 45 bucks. pisses me off so i don't bother with them. i'll avoid your loriscott76 from now on.

well hello meteorgirl and your husband, where to start.your husband did contact me after he got the first taillight but he did not specify which item he was looking at for the second.as there was 9 items listed at the time, some being very small ,some being larger and more fragile.if he would have asked then he would have got the same answer that i gave you after.not only does the cost include shipping but handling as well.these items took along time to strip , clean, list ,pack, then ship.im sorry that 36 dollars was so difficult for you to separate from.maybe you and your husband should consider a chevy ,i hear the parts are much cheaper which sounds right up your ally.better yet maybe an Italian model so you can become a Marxist and then tell me how much i can charge for the parts i list.i will remain a capitalist and charge however much i choose.just as you had the choice to buy the items or not.

Wow, guess I'VE been told!!! LOL
BTW, we did ask them to just ship the second lens only (after we won it) and they could keep the rest of the assembly as we didn't need it but that was too much trouble also.
Get over it. Time to move on. We have. Paid in full and forgotten. As for getting rid of my Meteor??? I'm not the one stripping one down and selling it.

now meteorgirl some cars are beyond repair and only can be used for parts, especially when they are 46 years old .but i have taken the time to find a good rest home for her, desert valley auto parts which is a great yard that specializes in classic cars.if you really want i will take off the rear assembly, but it seems a waste because it has the factory connections for reverse lights,if i break up the set they will most likely never be of any use to any one .since you got both lenses and you seem to be active in the meteor community i just figured they would find a good home.i will watch this post or you can use ebay and i will open the box unpack one and take it off,but i think that it may also provide a small amount of structural support for the lens during shipping.as to having a beef ,no worries on that ,im over it as well but you can imagine my surprise when i saw a posting about me.as a matter of principal i must at least answer a besmirch upon my good name .

I do respect that you took the time to respond. Leave them assembled if they are packed as you make a good point about the structural integrity. My original beef was only about principal not the cost. Anyone that knows my car knows I have invested many times over the original price of the car when new in my current ride.
Truce and Happy Easter to all here at CFM.

Hey, didn't know you were bi-lingual. You speak Canadian eh!
For my CFM friends, you really needed to see the movie "The Great White North" or a Mckenzie bros skit to understand 'hoser".
LOL

Hey Loriscott, I got those tension bars for the trunk lid from you and everything was perfect(except they were a bitch to put on). I haven't got the rocker trim yet but I'll let you know when I do. Thanks.
