has anyone replaced the front rubber anti harsh piece at the front bracket ? I'm looking at it and would like to eliminate it or wondering what anybody else has done ?

You can get the parts and put Fairlane braces on. or look thru the site I saw a while back where someone made their own.

If all I need are the front brackets off a fairlane and bolt that up to my new meteor leaf springs , I'll keep a look out for these brackets.
ANYBODY got some ?

There is a bit more to it. The front leaf spring eyes on the Fairlane are like two inches inside diameter. Beeeg boooshe. A little fabrication will be in order to adapt but it shouldn't be too difficult finding bolts and washers to do the job. You'll need the brackets from a 62 through 65 Fairlane. I think they bolt up to the rear torque boxes ever so slightly differently too but that shouldn't be a major issue.
