anybody done stud mounted rockers on GT40 or the "P" heads? swapped some junk for a set of 3/8 stud mount rockers and need to figger a way to mount them. haven't checked the bolt size on the GT40 heads yet so not sure if 3/8s or 7/16s. saw a kit at Summit or wherever but a lil pricey. ideas???

I did, had them machine for screw in at $5.00 per hole I bought the ones from EBAY. I dont have a lot of miles on the car since, but it sure freed up the spin up on rpm.
I also bought the rollar rockers from EBAY and they were not to bad priced.
I did get stud girdles, but the stud are not long enough for them. When I build the block I will go with the longer studs so I can put the girdles on, I think at high rpm they are a must.
Yea I am planning on turning the block under blow to over 8,000 rpm. FLaired main caps, the valley wedges and a roller cam.

The chevy screw in studs work for that. 5/16" for the head and 3/8" for the rocker. Cheap from the mail order fellers.
