Ford did all the important engineering stuff that makes it work. I'm just leaving out the ugly part that the accountants designed. The GT40 upper cast manifold sells on ebay for 35 to 95 bucks. The GT40 tubular & sheetmetal upper manifold sells for 4 to 500 weighs much less and looks much better too. I figure this could sell for a ton-o-cash for hotrodders. Naturally, you'se guyez can build to the pictures with your own tweaks. This may not work as well as the stock Ford piece but then again, you can tweak it for your driving style and your appearance requirements too. Longer runners for more bottom end torque and shorter for better top end WOT performance.

Hard, oh yeah. Seriously physical mostly cuz that ain't no milling machine. I did find one on ebay for a hundred bucks and I bought it right away. I have no doubt it will come back to me.

No, I found an aluminum spacer that was cnc'd on ebay for a hunnert. Snapped that puppy up too. Actually I did have a mill that I bought for a hundred bucks years ago. swapped it out for a pickup load of 9" rear centers and housings.
I'm spinning the drill press about 2900 with that cutter. Cussing the a-holes that borrowed the cutter years ago and weren't careful with it too.
My buddy with the reselling shop just picked up some Prazi lathes and one has a complete milling attachment too. It will be too rich for me though.

I bought those 15x4 Cragars for 100 and sold them for 150 about a month later. Now I have a spare set of 15x5 Hollywood mags I bought for a 100 when I want to go old school. Still have my steel wheels and 6 poverty caps too. I'll be having a pair of 8" steels made up with custom offset to go on the back that will mount the dog dishes as well.
