I've started working on my T5/supercharged 5.0 swap again. I have the 94 GT clutch pedal mounted under the dash, it just needs to be welded in place once I fit everything. I changed the pedal on the stock brake pedal to match. I made some drop adapters to mount the T5 to the stock trans mount - it works but I may make a change as the trans is too low under the car for my liking. you As I have a few questions: 1:) Has anyone completed this swap with super comps? If so how did you route your clutch cable? See my pics below for options. 2:) does anyone have pics of the darkhorse crossmember installed so I can see how the trans fits in the tunnel? 3:) where did you place the cable on the firewall? To me it looks like it will fit next to the brake M/C.

That cheesy tin bracket for the cable was mounted on the shock tower. Nice looking setup so far. Here's what google says www.fordmuscle.com/forums/fairlane-pages/476869-help-t5-into-64-fairlane-2.html scroll down to the pics. Claims the stock Must cable is too short so used Modern Drivelines cable. The tranny mount to use is the old one that went on the early Fordomatic and Mercomatics with the single bolt in the crossmember running fore and aft. It is the second lowest profile except for the Ford 4spd ones and they require another crossmember mod.

I used the old C4 trans mount. I don't like how the trans fits, it needs to go up some more.

Might have to cut a hole big enough for the collar around the shifter. I am still thinking about a T-5 too. Except I would make my own 5/8" adapter plate and tilt the trans to the original stick position.

I need to cut the hole in the floor bigger so the trans can go up some more. Then I'll need a larger shifter boot too. I could have sworn I kept the leather boot from the donor GT but I can't find it for the life of me.

Aww just cut the neck off some furry woodland creature and make a seamless leather boot. Or leave the fur on for a really different look.
