That is not decklid trim. It's actually the trim that runs at the bottom parallel to the decklid at the bumper line. We went out and took a real good look at the one on my car. Can't see any reason that someone couldn't take that piece, cut and fold the ends and make a perfect decklid piece. Hubby is going to get one and try making a spare. We'll see if it will answer the long nagging question of where to get them.

I have a '63 Meteor S-33 4-spd car that I am preparing to resrore. Nearly all the stainless and anodized pieces are perfect--except one. Does anybody have the ultimate rear deck lid trim piece. I can see that many have asked in the past and hopefully everybody has a good restorable core at this point. I am willing to pay top dollar for an excellent core. Should anyone know where this illusive trim piece his hiding, please let me know. Thanks much, Mark 248-762-2884

Does anyone know if the Fairlane deck lid trim is the same piece? i have a couple of these for sale
