After reading all the horror stories about these blowers I figured I can't decide between installing it or selling it? If I don't install it my 5.0 will be N/A as I don't have the money for a Procharger or Vortech........I'd like to use it as it's primarily a street driven car but I don't need a bad impeller failure taking out my new engine....My options would be to sell it and build a 347 stroker or put in a shock tower kit from Crites and use the 351W I have that has never been fired since it was built (installed in my Ranger with two GM diesel turbo's - no time to finish)....Either way I'm into fabrication work....If I can get the 351W to fit and my Hooker super comps or Crites headers will work I could punch it out to a 393 pretty cheap.....I also thought about twin turbo's on the 5.0 in the Merc too.

i thought the only problem was applying too much boost and the inside belt givin up. then i read where there is a better belt available.
i'm thinkin of goin to a mild turbo setup on my 221, like 6 to 15 adjustable lbs of boost. mines for the street but for the track blowers can't be beat. either way compressed air is a lot of fun!

Big torque is what compressed air is all about....From idle up it's all animal.
