I know this will seem like a novice question to you electrical whizz;s, but take pity on my lack on Electrical knowledge! When i see "find a Key on 12v. source" i imagine splicing wire upon wire under the dash which i soon forget which splice is what. Key on 12v power is used for everything from your Tach, Electric fans, head units to chokes. I read a great article about mounting a terminal strip under hood as a one source for all those "key on" 12 v needs. It called for an extra Ford Solenoid, a postive lead from the Batteryor the solenoid to terminal strip but, there was more to it than that, & i cannot find that "How to" article. I have to run a Key on 12v source to my Flexalite Vari-speed controller, Choke & i know there will be more, so the one spot source terminal strip seems like a cool solution So, anyone know this hook up & can i use a relay instead of a Ford Starter solenoid? Like to use a Relay if possible, just for a nicer look. Thanks from the guy who gets a shocked screwing in a light bulb!
