Not right now, just the essentials first to make sure we see the road this spring....I just want to drive the car for some 750DP audio therapy.....God knows I need it after the last 4yrs the car has been sitting.....I can't find a place online that sells just the shackle bushings in poly - I may end up getting 2 fairlane poly kits to get enough bushings. I found a Raybestos # for the shackles on the Rockauto site so I might be able to get them locally.

I think my 1" polygraphite bushings came from PST. Energy Suspension was the brand name on them.

I have some local parts shops looking into it for pricing and delivery time...The next decision is how much to re-arch the springs, there is so much arch in them unloaded that they are a bitch to get off now but they are pretty near straight when the car weight is on them.....Sort of like changing the the string on a bow when it's pulled back...LOL

Same here, mucho wheel hop. My problem is, i think, the mount at axle/spring, i took out the wonky rubber square, along with the U-shaped mount & just put a 1/4" thick rubber chunk under axle/spring mount & tightened U-bolts as much as i could, but i know it deflects if u put your foot into it & on spirited cornering too. Rethinking the mounts, springs are 2" lowered Eaton H.D. but, spring eyes are still the rubber type.

I ordered 2 new shackles and 16 poly shackle bushings today from the local shop that I normally deal with - $212 plus taxes....The shackles are a direct ship part from Raybestos. I'm not putting any rubber around my springs, steel on steel.

We managed to get the rear springs back in tonight with the poly bushings...We had to shorten 4 bushings by about 3/16” of an inch but other than that the shackle bushings worked A1 on both ends of the springs . I just have to tighten everything up tomorrow and call that job done. I eliminated the spring isolators and etc to get metal to metal contact between the axle and springs...Minor mod's performed to get all the slop out but it fit together great. ;D My new shackles are AC Delco units, dirt cheap and available locally....The bushings are Energy Suspension....I left the anti-harsh rubber block crap at the front end of the spring alone - for now....

Have you hit the streets yet? Wamted to know how the rear re-re worked out for you, especially if you got rid of wheel hop issues!

Not on the road yet, the chassis dyno is booked for the 20th of this month to finish tune it. I'm working on installing the new AED dual return spring throttle linkage setup and new throttle cable....Once the dyno is done and the trip to the spring shop are done we will pull the engine for finish painting and to send the headers out to be re-coated.
