I need to redo the interior in my (2) daily driver 1963 Meteor S33's. I am having no luck in searching for kits. I have heard of using Fairlane kits & if anybody knows they work would like link to where they are available.
ALSO, I am in Central California with 3 complete rust free parts cars (I stole/traded some of the parts with my S33s). I have: a 62 & 63 Meteor custom 4 door, & a 63 Fairlane 500 4 door. I prefer direct emails as I don't check this site all that often. doberdawg@comcast.net

ON INTERIORS - - - Has anybody heard of "falconcomet" on Earthlink, I believe in Oregon supposedly a source for accurate S33 interior - according to them??? Does anybody have a web site for them?? All I have is an earthlink email. They want me to post that they have our interiors, but first I want to check them out. Does anybody have sources for any proper fits for S33 (1963) carpet & other interior parts?? thanxxx...jc

Jake handles the intermediate and small cars. For carpets, they are the same size as the 62-65 Fairlanes

RE your claim that: they are the same as 62 - 65 [or any year]Fairlane
From other posts on this site & everything I have heard - you are passing on INCORRECT info when you say they are the same as 62 - 65 [or any year] Fairlane.
Do you have data, other than your opinion - or it is what you heard - somewhere - to back up that claim? I am NOT giving you a hard time, I need carpet & have heard on this site & other places that your claim is INCORRECT.

The 62-65 Fairlanes and 62-63 Meteors all share the same platform and glass but not sheetmetal. The Meteor specific parts besides the sheetmetal are in the front and rear suspension. Some of the engine colors are different. The dash cutout for the instrument cluster is different , the dash knobs are a different finish and the Meteor has an amp guage instead of an idiot light plus is 4" longer between the rear wheel and back bumper. That about covers the differences.
Should you have the opportunity to park a Meteor and a Fairlane of the years I specify next to one another, you could settle this yourself.
You don't have to believe me but I can assure you I don't offer opinions without labeling them as such. I'm here to moderate and delete spammers as a favor to Stu who built this site. Plus, I feel it has value to aim folks in a direction that doesn't involve their spending money on parts that won't fit.
If, as you infer, there are incorrect statements I have made here, by all means put them in a thread and I'll answer them.
