Hey hey, ho, ho, Gotta Love Me has gotta go!
I'm an old-time member of the site, but just haven't been active for a long time. Overcome by work and family to do much chatting or working on the car. My 63 4-door Custom with about 94K original miles has to go. I am moving later this year, and just can't take it with me. I thought I'd give the Meteorites first dibs before listing the car elsewhere.
Details: purchased the car in 2003, car had been in storage 28 years. I've done some fixing up since then, new brakes, water pump, horn, head gaskets, some of the freeze plugs, shocks, radiator, thermostat, hoses, renewed the gas tank, rebuilt sending unit and some other stuff I've forgotten.
The good news is that the car runs. I've taken it to a couple of shows in town, but I wouldn't drive it more than 50 miles one way without doing more work on it. Still pretty much original, to include the old floor mats that go over the humps.

Here's what still needs to be done:
The transmission pan leaks a little. I've tried a couple time to seal it, but it still seeps a little. Don't they all, though?
There's a rust-through spot above the right rear quarter panel. Not bad. There are some other very minor dings.
Engine burns oil.
I broke off the dipstick. It should be an easy task to put a new one in, but my ability to do this is severely lacking.
Somehow I ran out of brake fluid. I don't know if it evaporated out of the master cylinder from sitting idle in my garage, but I don't see brake fluid puddles on the garage floor.
With a little work (which I don't seem to know how to do), you'd get the car, all of the parts I have, a couple of manuals, a couple of automotive magazines from 1963, and a paint chip sheet from 1963. Heck, I'd even throw in the two trophies I got.
It's hard for me to part with the car; it was my first and only old car. I'd like $2000 for the car, or best serious offer. I'll continue to check back on the forum daily for awhile, or you can email me at Meteor63LC4sale@aol.com.
The car is located in Las Cruces, NM. Buyer is responsible for shipping.

I can get some more recent pictures but not until this weekend.
