Does anyone know where I can find a c4 transmission with a 5 bolt bellhousing? I no there hard to find and am willing to pay a reasonable price for a reasonable cause. Thanks

Where are you located? I have a 65 Comet & may be changing power trains. In fact, I may trade it for the labor of an engine swap (bolt in replacement). I am fairly sure it will be 5 bolt, & currently can be test driven.

Im in central valley CA. You wouldn't happen to have a transmission to go with that preferably a 3 speed./

I am confused. First you say C4 which is a 3 speed automatic. Now you say tranny preferably 3 speed. I have both, in running cars. My 3 speed is a 3 speed OVERDRIVE - not an automatic. It is in a test drivable 62 Meteor. My C4 is in a drivable 65 Comet wagon. I suggest you email me directly as I don't check this site every day & when I do only once a day. I check doberdawg@comcast.net several times a day. I am in Angels Camp, CA 95251 if you want to look up my Central Calif location. If you want - not necessary - send me your phone number & save a lot of typing. BUT what - EXACTLY are you looking for automatic or stick?

What I meant to say is I have a 63 meteor fordomatic w/260 V-8. I want to put a automatic c4. I'm told in order to do this I need a 5 bolt bellhousing. So I'm guessing I need both c4 and bellhousing. Can you help me? Thanks for your time. My number is 5592751674 name Frank. Again thank you.

Hey Frank you also need the c4 yoke, your driveshaft will be fine, but the splines on the fordomatic yoke wont match the c4, thought id throw that out there
