Thanks for the site first I'm always looking and doing my research on 62 Meteor mine is all original bought it from one of my elderly customers was sitting in her barn 36,000 original manual bill of sale and the service registers in the manual from the dealer so I feel pretty lucky. Has the "F" code on all the VIN which is the 260 2 barrel Autolite 2100 heat tube choke. It's a 4 door no seat belts back then cream color blue interior. Mine has the 2 speed wiper switch and stock air cleaner and valve covers are orange with solid air cleaner in orange no black from the factory on the tube. Mine has the stock 3 on the tree manual trans. My block number is C2OE-6015-J the date that is stamped behind the dizzy is 2C16.
I guess my question is after all the info on my Meteor is it rare or is there 1962's with 260's all over I have no clue so many thanks for any info and your time
