I hope this is not frowned upon here, but as of a couple years ago, I started a group called the Mercury Meteor Appreciation Society. The group runs from Facebook, as there is a large pool of Meteor owners on there, from all years. I just wanted to let you guys know, because theres a lot of plans with this group right now, as I am planning out a Mercury Meteor Nationals in 2016. Feel free to join, I do not want to take anything away from crazyformercurys, as many of you probably remember my dad (goes by eliotsdad), and have seen our Meteors before. My goal is just to bring as many meteor owners together as possible! Currently there are 164 Members, and growing, as this started as a high school project.

Cool! Post it on FCA too! I've been working to involve the FCA as much as possible. My test run was at the 2014 fca nationals in michigan. There were 5 meteors on the property (1 was not expected, four of them I knew about). Its actually a FCA record!

Eliot, I just recently remembered my Login info, so am late responding to this posting. I remember your Dad's postings and pictures, but that has been a while. I hope your endeavors produce many Meteor owners. Mine is a '63 Custom Tudor hardtop, and is currently pretty much garaged, due to my health causing "wrenching" inabilities. I still enjoy the communications on this site. Mine was very original when purchased in 2004, and is the same color as the 2 dr parked behind (on the other side of) the wagon in your picture. I'm not on Facebook or any of the social medias, but would still enjoy any info on your project. Thayne Louden, in Nebraska
