Has anyone installed frame connectors on their 62/63 Meteor yet? What did you use? I haven't gotten under the car yet to do any measuring, but Mustang connectors were my idea and they are cheap and pleantiful.

Not only are the Mustang subframe connectore cheap and plentiful...........they won't work. Now for the good news. I posted a DIY on Woody's Fairlane site. www.woodyg.com/fairlane/finfo/6265subframe.html You can buy these from Crites www.critesrestoration.com/ or just make the pieces yourself. Most any reputable muffler shop should be able to do this on a slow day. Just be sure to leave donuts for the good price.

Crites has a resonable price. Connectors will help keep the 3000 lbs Merc. strong.

The Crites price is reasonable and shipping will add to the total. However, if there is a steel supply yard nearby, you can buy the steel for the price of the shipping.
Twelve feet of .080" wall 1.5x3 tubing and a foot square of 16ga is about it.
