HEY GUYS, Any one with a 351w motor in their car, are you using a front sump or rear sump oil pan. I have a brand new rear sump and I dont see any clearance problems, but I figure someone here would know for sure if there are any problems with set up. ANY HELP APPRECIATED!!!!!

I would say to check for steering clearance, could be tight. I have a front sump pan on my 302, I couldn't see a rear sump pan working on my Merc....I think it would be really tight. A 302 and 351W oil pan are basically the same other than the 351 has a larger rear main seal thanks to it's larger 3" mains.

For any future reference a rear sump oil pan is definitely out of the question in a 1962 Meteor

Buddy of mine has a 351 front sump in his 64 Fairlane. No mods to the steering etc.
