A blown and injected 460 would do the trick..........
Okay, okay. What kind of money are you willing to throw at it and some specs on the existing equipment would be a good place to start.
The usual suspects would be getting the air in and the exhaust out better and rear end gears to use them. We await your next installment........

Yea, 460 BLOWN. 671 Blower.
Speed cost you money to go fast how much can you afford?
You can go with the Edelbrock package, heads, cam, manifold, single or dual carbs.

As for duel 4 brls on a SBF, Hotrod Mag. did a dyno test on a 302 and it actually made more hp with only a single 4. I believe they built it with the Edelbrock package. Their closing statement was something to the tune of it looking cool, yet overcarbed.(twin 500's)

Typical magazine screwup. The dual quad setup for the sbf should have a pair of 400 or smaller carbs. Yes a well set up single four is much better but for pure cool multiples get the nod.

yeah but if ya stick that jimmy 671 under those carbs or a couple of KKKs blowin thru them=lots more horsepower

There are other options as well. Like some Webers... Or something that is a one off we are building. A 6/71 manifold for a 302. The 144 is just too wimpy..... And this Cobra 289 with Twisted Wedge heads and dual quads. Sorry about the towel. That's my home made hoist too.

Well you can go with a six banger.
300 Ford, pistons for a 327 Chevy work. Seems like mabe it was a 240 block with 300 crank and 300 heads.
Two manifolds one has 2 4bbls 400 cfm.
The other manifold takes three Weber 48 IDA's.
You have to be willing to take it over 4 grand and the torque goes wild.
Williams from Kansas City ran an A/altered Alcohol with it back in the late 70's set several world records.
Cam and headers were from Clifford research.
I helped wrench the mustang it was in, mater of fact we got the engine to run on straight gas. Now being a bunch of kids and never having Webers around before. We put them on and fired it up, it would run up to about 2000 rpm and stay there. One of the redneck wonders came over and looked at the carbs. "Ya'll might do better ifin ya take that cardboard out of the throttle bores."
Well we did and the engine ran fantasic. So much so it was shuting down all the small block engine, did not mater what they were running it was always just a fast stang.
Had a real exotic sound, some of the yocals thought it was out of a Europeon Sports car.
Now if you have some extra dollars, try a double overhead cam Jag six banger!!!

Nope, I ain't in the picture. Under the car. Yes indeedy a Ford six can scream. Even the 200 with a 170 head, or was it a 140 head??? Anyway that will bump the compression then cam it and get the exhaust out. I thought about doing my six but it was cheaper to buy a whole engine than rebuild it.

I've got a mag article here all about building up straight sixes...With the 7 main bearings in a 200 block you can turn that puppy to 7000rpm. Slap on a turbo on and a big cam and you've got yourself an animal. ;D....I'd like to try and build one in the future just for the hell of it.

Wouldn't that be fun though. Build it in a 63 Falcon and slam it to the ground and go hunting for rice. "But it's just a little six-cylinder."

Yup, a bigtime sleeper with an odd ball exhaust note too. I'd go with the 61 Falcon though, its even more odd and you would never suspect it to be a beast.

Mebbe cut up a Tbird irs to throw under it and keep the tires from being too big a clue. Trouble is, an hour after munching some rice you'd just want more.
