Anyone is the Seattle area have an old manifold kicking around? I over torqued and snapped the rear tab off of mine back by the throttle linkage. Give me a PM if you do. Thanks, Matt - mbasher@comcast.net Thanks!

the oldest manifolds i have been able to find are 66 Mustang units (on CL anyway)
They didnt have the oil catch basket fir the PCV in the back f the manifold, like stock, so to use one i have to drill a hole in my valve cover to add the PVC. Am I looking at this right or is there another way to do it without molesting my valve covers.
(as I understand it, the crankcase needs 2 vents; one with the PVC and the other with a breather, which is the breather tube on the front of the engine. Is that right?)

Yep, on the road draft tube engines the rear and front of the valley did the trick. Later on they went to a breather in one valve cover and a pcv in the other with a hose from the pcv to the carb base or carb base adapter.
Or you can just buy some cast iron welding rod and fix it in your bro's shop.

The manifold I found was off a 71, so i put the PCV in the valve cover. If work lets up a little I can get back out there and finish putting it back together!
