serdi is a good machine but takes the fun/challenge out of it. did you mean .030 or did you really only cut them .003? i wonder how many CCs yur chambers are now. what did they start out at?

SUPER SMOOTH AND IT ONLY TOOK ONE DAY TO GET ENOUGH RUBBER DOWN TO MAKE GOOD RACING. I GOT A SECOND PLACE ON SAT, NIGHT AND BROKE OUT ON SUN. IT'S FUN TO BE HOME AGAIN.

I AM RACING 1/8 MILE AND IT IS RUNNING 8:20S @86 MPH . WE DON'T HAVE ANYONE TAKING PITCHERS ON A REGULAR BASIS. YOU CAN GO TO " GROVECREEK.COM "TO SEE HOME PAGE. 'I MISSED OUT ON WINNING A "WALLY" ON SUNDAY ALSO SO I WILL HAVE TO WAIT ANOTHER YEAR OR GO TO A DIFFRENT NHRA TRACK. JUST GLAD TO RACING CLOSE TO HOME AGAIN.

Because i;m so d**n busy i decided to have my Motorsport 306 + built by pros, well, not the only reason, i guess Howard internals, was going with Edelbrocks RPM heads but walked into a set of AFR 185;s by chance Its going to be a 6500+rpm with a 6 speed stuff i;ve been gathering -shelby alum. pan from the 60;s EFI i hope, but which one, keep hearing horror stories setting up aftermarket EFI's I rode with a guy running a built 5.0 that redlines, & makes power to 7K the sound & feel got me hooked immediatley. looking for front dress right now, can;t find anything i like no rush for this yr.

hard to beat Fords mass air system. Stella62 used the Ford EFI when he did his conversion and loves it or at least he did when i talked with him(Andrew) about last. should be a fun drive with a 6 speed . you gonna git sum bigass muscles in yur left leg and right arm.

Just to be clear on 6 speed Its a built C-4 with a gear vendor over/under drive Splits each gear for 6 forward speeds unlike a stock C-4, like shift form 1st to 2nd, maybe drop 700-900 rpm With GV unit each shift (1st-1st over, 2nd -2nd over, 3rd, to O/D you only drop maybe 200-300 rpm so motor is always right in its sweet spot once you get onto shifting a GV unit, which is kinda like learning to drive a 3 pedal car for the first time, its just to much fun.Not much testing yet, but on a 2.5 mile race track knocked about 7.5 seconds off lap times, first day out

Blown, aluminum headed 302 going in the Merc with a 5spd stick....The goal is 450HP, would like to try for 375-400RWHP on the dyno.

You can simply flip a switch & its full auto throuhg 1,2,3 to O/D Or flip to manual & go through the gears manually Great for downshifting on windy bits too

I smell a Bonneville car? Worlds Fastest Meteor. If the house was paid for and the truck was paid for thats what I would do!! I use to do the 1/8th mile thing with a 200/6 banger stang but 1/8th mile just ain't enough land to have a good time. I like the idea of blasting down 7 miles of of salt, then repeating it in an hour. Then there is the flying mile in Texas and the Big Bend race, I am sur thinkning for my 55th Bday the Big Bend race in Texas in the Meteor would be the thrill of a life time! www.bborr.com/We were in Texas in July and drove down thru Guthrie, in 30 miles we saw 13 cars, anyone getting the same idea I am? nice place to open a car up and see what it will do. The 07 Grand Prix limits out out 110mph and 2800 rpm. I would love to remove the speed limiter on the car. Of course the Merc ain't got not limiter! but may need to go with a better distributor for such an event.

It is kinda sad, taking the engine out of a car that we just got running correctly a couple of weeks ago ... but no way to make progress without doing it. Next step is RRS strut notching kit, and then we test-fit the Fatman IFS kit.
