I just got a 63 meteor and it needs the front frame sections...am I right in saying that they are bolted in? My questions are as follows: are they bolted in?..are they connected to the trans crossmember..and would the frame rails from a 63 falcon work?...

Not bolted. It's all welded together, if we are talking about the same parts. You should go to the "The Meteor Hotrod & Performance Shop" and go back a few pages. You will find someone that's posted pics of the frame are or an empty engine bay. That will show you how the frame attaches. Maybe you could post a pic or link to the parts you are talking about, to be sure we are clear about what you want.

Yes, it looks like bolted on both ends so should be easy to swap out. Not really sure of their purpose. Maybe a little re-enforcement of that area. Maybe someone else will have a little better idea of what their job is. Nothing else is bolted to them on mt '62 with auto. Arie should see this thread and he is the guy= he use to build them at the factory and is a library of info. Maybe lay them against the parts from the Falcon to see how close they match. If not able to do that then measure them up. Be sure to make sure the angle is the same.
EDIT: Those are the the part of the frame that the trans mount bolts to. I have struck through the erroneous parts of my post

It actually looked like it was part of the trans crossmember, but I couldn't be sure..when I moved the end I could see the motor and trans move up and down

He will. He checks in fairly often, buttt I don't think he always logs in. w2zero has done a lot of frame work and he checks in as well. He has a Fairlane which is very, very similar.

THE METEOR IS A UNIBODY CONSTRUCTION ALL WELDED CONSTRUCTION AND BECAUSE OF THE ANTI HARSH SYSTEM IT WAS AND IS UNIGUE. IF DOBERDAWGS NEIGHBOR STILL HAS THE 63 GO FOR THAT.

After doing some more looking today..it looks like the rails that are rusted out are bolted in and connected to the trans crossmember
