I;m home tomorrow boys ,I have pics of installed sway bar both over & under the diff., the Galaxie ends mounted to sub frames? I;m looking at them right now & the end L brackets are a match for the spares i have So, either i have 2 sets of Galaxie brackets or the stock ones worked. You know what Quick-Or was like, when i ordered front & rear sway bars they sent me 3 sets over 4 months!! No wonder they went bust! If i can;t post will send to your e-mail address

Ok, here's the pix of the front bar right after we installed it and took it for a ride. Too bad we didn't feel like jacking it up again for the pictures. The blue goo comes with the bars and you put it on as a urethane lube. We wiped it off after I saw it in the pix. This is the 1" Quickor bar that I bought from Suspenstech on ebay that says he used to have something to do with Quickor. All I know is he was easy to deal with and shipped right away. www.mts.net/~adrienp/Sway Bar 1.jpg[/img] www.mts.net/~adrienp/Sway Bar 2.jpg[/img] www.mts.net/~adrienp/Sway Bar 3.jpg[/img] www.mts.net/~adrienp/Sway Bar 4.jpg[/img] www.mts.net/~adrienp/Sway Bar 5.jpg[/img]

Don;t use the poly bushings for rear bar or front for that matter You need some give, believe me I;ve tried & tried to tune fr/rear bars but the poly;s are just to unforgiving Sure, you can corner perfectly flat but, you loose the ability to feel when your going to loose it in hard corners, before rear bar i could feel the back end coming loose, & use the throttle or back out of it, depending on corner, speed. But, with fat bars, poly bushings, when she decides to let go, its the tires that break loose & your rear becomes the front ,with no warning. so, your only chance of tuning the suspension, use rubber bushings & in a perfect world, adjustable end links, which i;m looking for. minimman - I;ll send you more pics but i;m off to Europe until the weekend

While that may definetly be true if you're trying to make an old Merc handle like a Gran Prix car, I'm super pleased even after installing the front bar that the 45yr old Meteor can corner as good or better than the Marquis. I don't intend to rallye drive, just turn regular corners without leaning.

Alright Mg!! looks great, looks like no holes drilled, and the original bolts back in. I'm not one for puttin' mods on my original cars, but this is one I'll concider for a winter project.

Check Addco for adjustable links, plus there are someother bar manu. out there. Names I cant remember right now but almost any Endlink for a 73 or Earlier Mustang should work.

The ones Mg and Roy have are 1" instead of about 3/4", and I'm sure they're stronger pound for pound too.
